What is your life purpose? What were you placed on this planet to do? Are you here to make others laugh? Are you here to help others who are in unfortunate situations? Or maybe raise kids? Are you here to be a coach, doctor, mechanic, banker, etc.? The list goes on and on.
Everyone has a different life purpose. It could be anything ranging from being an art teacher to establishing an international non-profit that fights human trafficking.
But a life purpose isn’t necessarily an occupation. It can be a mission. I believe that my life purpose is to inspire others to live the incredible life of their dreams. A person can have a life purpose that doesn’t revolve around a career. I can have whatever job I want and still continue on the path of fulfilling my life’s purpose.
Everyone has a different purpose that drives them. Maybe you have discovered yours or maybe you haven’t and that is completely ok.
Take some time to reflect on your life.
- What brings you joy and fulfillment?
- What would excite you the most if you knew you were going to do it every day?
- What have been the most life-changing moments in your life? How are they similar?
- When do you feel most like yourself?
- What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?
Hopefully reflecting and answering these questions helped you learn more about yourself. The more you ask yourself difficult questions the more you learn about yourself which will help you discover your life’s purpose. We all have one so go out and find yours.
